Primary design concentration:

Print Design

Most preferred tool for designing:

Creativity, Open-Mind

1. How and why did you choose to become a designer?

I used to paint. I wanted to combine art and technology and this lead me to choose the field of graphic design.

2. Challenges you encounter as a designer and how do you deal with them?

When clients see differently than I do. It’s hard to create a satisfactory product for them when their expectations and preferences differ from mine.

3. Your definition of an “elegant solution,” that is, good design?

Clean, minimalist, yet smart.

4. From skills to values, what makes a designer successful?

Creatively solving and satisfying business objectives of her/his clients. Delivering the product on time is also a must.

5. How do you stay motivated and grow personally and professionally as a designer?

The motivation has come naturally so far. I grow by reviewing design publications and by constantly stretching my mind when designing, never settling for the easiest and most obvious solution.

6. For those aspiring to become a designer, whatever the discipline, what is your advice?

You have to love it! The competition is fierce and your true passion for design will make you stand out from the crowd.

7. What is your quest in design?

To work with clients in whose cause I believe. To better the world by bettering the visual landscape where we reside.
